Goodbye to Yesterday by Wanda Brunstetter

Join Meredith and Luke Stoltzfus, an Amish couple who are faced with the greatest challenge of their young lives. Financial struggles. Arguments. A suspected pregnancy. A last-minute trip to Middlebury, Indiana. A deadly encounter at a Philadelphia bus station. Will their love and faith be enough to bring them back together again, against all odds?

My thoughts...

A short book that can be read in one sitting and is the beginning of a series. There wasn't much time to get to know the characters and I found parts not only difficult to believe but repetitive and downright boring at times. Luke has lost his job and is getting ready to spend several weeks with an uncle in Indiana learning a new trade. He will be several hundred miles away from his wife, Meredith, who suspects she is pregnant but doesn't tell Luke. That pretty much wraps up the first installment.

Will I buy the next book in the mini-series? No. It's not worth the price asked for a snippet being called a book.

I received a copy of this book free from the publisher in exchange for an honest review.

JoyAnne, I totally agree with you on this. I think the price was to high for no more than the reader gets with this one. I am going to wait until they create an Omnibus and then read it. Couldn't believe how much filler there was in this one. Great review!
